Recessed fit light gaps
In a deep beam recess roof situation, pleated, pinoleum and roman roof blind systems have major advantages. They fit very closely to beams which are straight and diagonal having maybe only a few millimetres clearance. Due to most roller roof blind brackets being 10 - 12 mm and fabric requiring clearance on the straight edges, roller blinds leave a gap of around 20mm. This will excess light through and therefore affect heat reduction. This only applicable to beams which are perpendicular to the facia. Diagonal sides will fit as closely as any other blind types.
